Are the Debt Free Direct organisation Insolvency Practioners?

Also, does setting up an IVA affect my credit file with Experian and other debt record keepers?

Hello

I beleive that Debt Free Direct have a number of IPs which work for them.

If your IVA is accepted it will be registered on your credit file for a period of 6 years from the start of your IVA.

And also don't forget that once in an IVA you must not obtain credit of any source ie overdrafts etc. Some finance may be possible only on the agreement of your IP
THE ONLY WAY IS UP :-)

shop around, mack. phone a few companies before deciding just to get a 'feel' for it all. the companies that post on this site are helpful. Unfortunatly there are some dodgy ones out there.

Good luck and keep posting
