It should be removed when you have your completion certificate -- if not give them a gentle reminder.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

You can apply for the restriction to be removed directly to H M Land Registry if your IP does not play ball, Florence.

This is a good point. I received my completion certificate on 17 December last year and never thought about the restriction until this week. I e-mailed PayPlan to ask and they said that they applied for it to be lifted on 17 December and they received confirmation from the Land Registry on 6 January that it had. I will accept that as it costs £3 to enquire with the Land Registry yet to look on the Insolvency Register is free and anyone can look at it. Fortunately, I was removed from the Insolvency Register on 17 December.
