Hi could you tell me if the IVA goes against the address you are
living at or just against u? (as with credit rating goes against the house). I currently live at home and dont wish it to go against my parents house.

Hi and welcome

I'm not sure that it does anymore, not 100% though. I'm sure one of the experts will put you straight shortly.

Yes it will be registered against the address that you are currently residing at.However it should not affect your parents credit rating.
Just for info I put my business address down whilst applying for my IVA and this is where my IVA is registered both on the credit files and insolvency register.

If anyone is affected by your IVA (i.e. your Parents) they can ask to be dissociated from your debt. This can be done through the various credit agencies.
