Also by paying more into your IVA it will not shorten your IVA[unless you pay the full original debtand IP fees]but will increase the dividend to your creditors,and fees to your IP[if these have been agreed on the 15% of monthly payment basis]

Thanks for the info. Yes, they had the other monies owed information.

One last one, I own half the house, the other is owned by another person not involved in this, how can I re-mortgage my half, but not theirs? They are not liable for any of my debt, so should not be forced to undertake loads of new debt for my problems. Can this be done?

You would only increase the mortgage to release your share of the equity,not theirs.

Ah, ok, the co owner want me to ask: I know you have answered this question already, but the co-owner wants me to just confirm that independently of how we own the house, ie. joint tenancy or tenancy in common, they will only release the equity of my 50%?

They will only ask you to release YOUR share of the equity,for the majority of people this is 50%.
