The few times we have had posts about debt collectors on here they have always been polite. I know of one poster who had one call the night before the IVA meeting and was most annoyed that the creditor hadn't told her about it! She was very apologetic.

Yes to be fair he was very polite and friendly, totally non pressure, can't say the same about westcot when they phoned me this morning although I soon put them in their place when I told them about the date of our meeting
Anyway, thank you all so much for your support, as the date is drawing nearer now, you have no idea how much your support is helping me get through this!

Debt collectors chasing people entering ivas will be as put out as the people they're trying to collect from...as we're both being treated badly by the lender. They know they aren't going to make anymmoney from us so no plot racking up costs sending out debt collectors, letters etc...
