Hi Andy,

Is there any chance of having a frugal friends meeting down South (Dorset/Hampshire) way or to be honest even Wiltshire or Gloucestershire would be good

I would love to come to these meetings but sadly cannot make them as they really are too far away as it would good to put a face to a name and contribute.

Lou [:)]

Portsmouth or Chichester would be good for me as well, and if it could be on a Saturday that would be even better - we can stay at Dave's mum's place and won't have to drive back!

I think there are a lot of people down south, where would be a central place easy for all, I am sure Andy can arrange one there. Hopefully as skippy says a saturday and I will come and stay hopefully.

I should be able to make it depends if not too close to the debt debate.

We shall be talking with Andy Davie tonight about an idea of ours - holding a Frugal Friends meeting outside of a major City Centre, close to free car parking and in a less expensive location.

How about a meeting on Saturday May 10th in the "Harbour Lights" Beefeater, next door to the Marriott Hotel Portsmouth, close to Junction 12 of the M27 ?

Who would support this idea, and come along ?

Protect IVA will sponsor this evening.

John, Andy etc. ... just wanted to point out the The Beefeater is a very popular restaurant locally and is likely to be quite busy on a Saturday night ... without booking a full sit-down meal it would be unlikely that we would be able to all sit together and informally chat, especially if we have the same lovely turnout as we did on Saturday.

However, driving past the Premier Inn next door yesterday I note that they boast a bar and restaurant and 'conference rooms' for hire ... let me know if you would like me to stop off and have a reccy and report back for suitability. [:)]
