Hi

Can anyone tell me how long it took for their PPI claim to be completed by DRSP on behalf of Cleardebt?

Mines now been going on two years and in beginning to wonder if something's no correct as I have had many calls saying it's about done over the year.

Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,

I am having to go through this process too via DRSP and Cleardebt. Initially when the guy visited my house with papers to sign, it was Dec 2012. He said then it would be completed within 16 weeks - if I was due anything.
It's still ongoing now....I certainly still have 2 years left of my IVA so no rush but It is frustrating. So far 2 Companies have paid out to around £3k but even just a few weeks ago, I was called saying there was yet more paperwork to sign.
So - as much as I cannot say when it will be finished - your not the only one with it still ongoing.

IVA Accepted 31st March 2011.
IVA Ends 31st March 2016.

If you have two years still to go on your IVA, Susie, I would forget about the ongoing PPI exercise and let the CMC get on with it.

PPI claims management is often based on "how long is a piece of string", as it does require creditors to engage, and if claims are not upheld and have to be referred to the Financial Ombudsman, it can often take over a year to be looked at. Very frustrating for all concerned.
