My parents no nothing about ebay but have some stuff to sell.

I said i would help them out but the paypal payments would then go into my account, which i guess would/could be seen as an income when it is not.

Will this create problems for me?

Thanks.

Mike

Hi Mike

Could you not set up a paypal account for your parents and connect it to your ebay account?

I doubt if your IP would be bothered about your PayPal account anyway. You may need to be careful if you operate a business via Ebay and ensure you do not end up paying tax on the money.

I have a Paypal account into which payments go when I have sold anything, and I use that to fund my spending on there. As long as it's not a business, as Michael says, then if you choose to sell your unwanted belongings, it's not a problem.

I've never declared my account at all.

No problem at all - just explain the truth to your IP if this is ever questioned (which I doubt it will be) and all will be well.
