My younger sister has been a huge support to us as we await our meeting date, and shes been through the mill a bit. she finally plucked up the courage to buy a house with her boyfriend last june, which promptly burnt down on Christmas eve! with all of the hassle renting while waiting for renovations, she started to use her credit card. our conversations must have put the frighteners on her as she rung up barclaycard to pay the balance as soon as she received a bonus from work. Barclaycard told her that she couldn't make said payment as it was not due yet!!!(but would except £5) She started on them big time telling them that they were only interested in racking up extra interest on a daily basis. She got so angry she told them to cancel her card, send her a bill and congratulated them on saving her from a debt filled future. i might now go forth and spread the word about 'credit' and save the masses. Oh no - poor girl.

Good for her giving them what for though ! Give her a huge thumbs up.
There's light at the end of the tunnel - it's just that sometimes the tunnel seems so long.

How awful rollercoaster, I hope she was well insured on the house and is getting that sorted out.
Well done for clearing her card though[:)]
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....
