Anyone have a rough idea how much you would expect to pay for gas? I have always had oil fired central heating so have no idea of the monthly cost....also is £300 per week rent for London excessive or about right?

Also council tax and water rates is something we don't have in Northern Ireland so any advice anyone could give on those costs would be much appreciated!!

Interesting to note on this Income and Expenditure form is you are allowed for newpapers and HP costs....very strange!!
