eldest son being bullied badly at school

my husband & i have a joint iva with debtfree direct when we applied they ruled out bankruptcy giving the reason as we didnt want everyone knowing but now 5months in to the iva repayments we are struggling with them having 3 children aged 13,9 & 2 are circomstances change frequently due to thier needs also are demescic appliences are second & third hand & need replacing or repairing the car has needed reapiars to get it through its mot as the iva is so restrictd we cannot save for anythink which causes us a great deal of worry. The majority of people that know us know we are broke it has come to the point where my
eldest son has being bullied badly at school because other children have found out about are finacial situation we are once again at are whitts end of what to do.

I am very sorry to hear about your Son, children really can be very cruel and I strongly hope that his School Teachers manage to get on top of this bullying as soon as possible.

If you are finding the IVA payments unmanageable it is important that you discuss this as soon as you can with your IP. You may be able to renegotiate some of the payments or take a small payment break to fund the essential items. If however it is deemed that the original agreement is in fact unmanageable you may need to investigate the details of a potential bankruptcy which perhaps could take the pressure off you somewhat.

Speak with yor IP tell them the situation, your family is the most important thing and there needs needs are greater than money.

I dont know you personal situation but I am sure if you post it you will get some advise that will steer your thinking.

Hello.I've read some horrid tales on here but yours has me nearly in tears. I hope you've been able to go into school and support your child. Kids can be very damaging to each other can't they? Do what the above IP's advise and speak to your company. Good luck .cat x

[:(!]So sorry to hear about your son being bullied,its no comfort but those who do the bullying have the problem and no doubt problems at home.However you must tell the school and demand that they address the issues,don't let them fob you off.I had recent experience of this told the school what i expected of them ,thing have been ok for my child,he looks a bit different,kids struggle with difference?
Just keep caring for each other,i know how stressful waiting for an IVA can be and some of the worries along the road .
Talk to the IP , sometimes the more you talk the more help you get .
