Whilst working away in America a few years ago, myself and my friend were in the bar of the hotel with one of the guys from the company and his friend.

I actually the guy from the company 'Do you come here often?' and couldn't believe I'd actually said it afterwards!

Did he fall for it though Jan? [;)]

We were in a nightclub in Las Vegas and everyone was very very friendly, hubby couldn't get over it and kept telling me how the guys in the toilet were so friendly and had invited him onto a private party....we found out later it was the biggest gay nightclub in Vegas [:I] I was relieved, 'cos I was starting to get a complex as no-one invited me to a private party [:D]

Dave and I went to a wedding reception in Brighton years ago and we were sitting chatting when a girl we didn't know came over. She was leaning across Dave and hitching her skirt up to show her legs and I was sitting there thinking 'b***** cheek, he's with me!' The penny only dropped when she asked me to dance, not Dave!

Julie - I wouldn't mind but even though he was gorgeous, it was my friend who really fancied him!

Good job your hubby didn't got to the party![:0]

Skip - you could have pulled there![:D]

What a funny thread.
I had been with a now ex for about 2 weeks when we decided to have a date in watching 'This Life'. The room was darkened and I put my head on his lap to relax. I soon felt a bogey and decided t rid myself of it. I should have just gone to the loo, but hey hindsight is a great thing! Scooped bogey from nose, which was bigger than I thought (remember it is dark and I am not entirely in view). Panicked as to how I would dispose, but decided a roll and a flick should suffice. So I flicked and could not believe the 'hitting' sound that I heard!
"what the ***k was that?" said new BF
"...silence from me..."
"something just hit my aunties canvas"

Turns out his late auntie was a b***** artist and my flicked bogey had just hit her canvas! He did suss me cos he studied the pic and found my bogey! I confessed as I had no choice and we lasted a year....just.
