Hi everyone - hope everyone had a stress free christmas and brilliant new year.

Just checking if anyone has any info on how bancruptcy will affect my employemnt with the Local Authority...

I don't work in a department relating to finances or anything like that - i actually work in the hosuing and homeless section (the irony isn't lost on me either!!!).

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey scoobydoo, happy new year from me. I don't think your employment will be affected at all but you must check your terms and conditions and maybe give your HR dept an anonymous phone call just to check.

Hi

the job role is not one specifically excluded by being bankrupt but as Viki suggests it is always a good idea to check your employment contract and if still unsure phone HR and ask them

Then you have done due diligence and should be covered

Other than possibly working in the Finance Department - however check anonymously with HR just to be on the safe side.
