Well after only 11 months in an IVA I was lucky enough to have my mum make an F&F on my behalf which was accepted mid April. I have now received my Certificate of Compliance so my IVA is officially over.

I still appear on the IVA register. Do I need to take myself off it?

Is there anything else I need to know or do with regard to repairing my credit rating. I know that my IVA stays on for 6 years although it is marked satisfied.

Thanks everyone [:)]

Your name will be on the register for a couple of months and then fall off but there is nothing you can do to speed the process up. You could apply for a credit repair card but it might be a little early but maybe worth a try.

Well done on completing the IVA and well done to your IP for closing the file so quickly.

wow you got your completion certificate through quickly. Im still waiting on mine as my mum also offered money for a full and final settlement in April that was agreed.

I hope you manage to get your credit file sorted,

best wishes

Congratulations on completing your IVA and on receiving your completion certificate :-)

To clean up your credit file you will need to credit check yourself and make sure that any defaults are backdated to the date your IVA was approved. Some creditors continue to default throughout the IVA.

Defaults will also stay on your credit file for 6years.

All the best for a debt free future x

My creditors are still defaulting me month after month even though the IVA was approved last year

Once I get my completion certificate I will sort things out !!
