Hi Honneybunny, I don't think there is alot of people out there that don't feel guilt, and ashamed of the situation that they have got themselves into. I have made a decision, that yes i have been stupid, but i am going to move on, enjoy my family, make sure my IVA is paid every month, and count the months down, until it is finished. At the end of the day, everyone makes mistakes, it's how you correct them that's important. By telling your husband about your issue, that's a hugh thing, and he has stood by you, which means that he loves you, and wants to support you. There are miles more important things in life than money! like love.! And as long as you have that, nothing really matters.
Talk to Melanie, I'm sure that she will get the situation under control, and you will all feel so much better. x

Hi Honeybunny, I was about to post and then read Debbi's which says it all... Let the guilt go, it doesn't help at all, the important thing is you're taking responsibility for sorting it out and that's something you and your family should be proud of.

Andy and Melanie seem to have some clear options open for consideration there, well worth some thought. Melanie's suggestion to get the ball rolling now undoubtedly makes excellent sense from every perspective, but importantly, I suspect you'll feel a great deal better once you've made your decision and had a good proposal agreed.

Very best wishes to you and have a great Christmas,

Martin
