It may well be - seems to be a bit of a problem at the moment.

Doubt the issue is down to the insolvency service, if it was all three CRAs would have been affected.

This is an Equifax issue. If you have a old copy of your report, and the new incorrect copy, I'd make a complaint. I'd also let the Information Commissioner know. Equifax it would seem is a law unto themselves and need to be brought back in line.

I agree Matrix, I think it may be an Equifax problem. If they have been unable to get an update from the Insolvency Service, due the problems with their website, then maybe instead of not updating the files, they may have used an old copy of the register.

Yes something has triggered it off by the sounds of it, just checking but it has been six years since the start of your husbands IVA?

I'm beginning to think that a number of problems appear to arise if you're not on the CRA to begin with, so would be better off being on there from the start.

My concern over Equifax is that they are slow to react to correct inacurate data, or remove data which has passed it's sell by date.

Yes we entered interlocking IVA's in July 2005. Completed a full 6 years following an extension in lieu of equity. Certificates received 23rd August 2011. Will just after wait and see what they say following my enquiry.

Yes, I'm forced to keep an active eye on Equifax myself now as I have some concerns over equifax which seem to be doing this alot at the moment. Sure it's a trick just to get subscriptions.

Just did a subscription for a minimum period of 3 months at £7.50 a month, so annoying they should get it right first time. First default is due off on the 3rd March 2012 I'll be watching it like a hawk come then to make sure it happens as they say it's automatic when I queried this with them this morning.

I've just checked Equifax again, and it's showing in my alerts as new court data added on 10 Feb, but it doesn't actually show up on the credit report itself.

The Insolvency Register is working again btw.

Yes whitegold that is my thought exactly, but that's what they told me on the phone. Time will tell I guess, as will be monitoring it daily now.

I've just checked the register and all is okay, not on there. Mine is showing on court data section. This seems to be a big problem - not good!

This is appalling - how the hell can they suddenly reinstate stuff like this?

I'm beginning to think the CRAs are making deliberate errors in order to make money selling the reports to us, if they updated the data correctly we wouldn't need to check multiple times and run up costs.

I agree mattyboy, how data that has been deleted can suddenly re-appear is beyond me. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELETED.
