Equity in Finance - DfD referral - problems!

Well i have just got off the phone to EIF to be told initially that they were waiting for an answer from DFD as to whether they could close my account down, i intimated that as soon as i had finished the call i was going to email DFD regarding my last two payments,(whoopee)and that i would also mention this conversation that EIF were waiting to hear form them regarding closure. Amazingly low and behold i got a phone call back after about 5 minutes to be told that this person had not seen a reply email from DFD and the instructions were to close the account down, wahoooo. They, so far have been able to claim back £43 of which obviously they will be taking 30/40% back! I then did actually contact DFD as i wanted to ensure that they were in the picture that i would be making two further payments over two months regarding the outstanding £746 required to make up the 63p dividend in light of my not being able to release any equity, only to be told that the HMRC is still ongoing but that someone within the closure team will be dealing with it, however it could still take up to 6 months from receipt of that last payment to get my Completion documents, grr. I just hope that like some other customers of DFD they are getting that all important document well before the 6 months are up. Let's hope Arty that Declan can work his magic for you and get this sorted once and for all. I might when i have been paid in August just go to DFD in person and pay them the last payment over the counter, that would give me great pleasure ha ha.

yes i did agree to it, i knew i had taken out PPI and it was probably missold, so i was happy to send the forms back.......considering i was told it would be started 4 months prior to my IVa ending and it only takes 12 weeks! 6 months later im still ringing them twice weekly to chase them up!!!

Currently my case with them cant be claosed due to one creditor keeping the payment as 'offset' but to be honest their fighting for a couple of quid which once EiF take their huge slice wont be worth adding it to the pot!!
