No-one can predict what will happen to property prices over the next few years so it is a bit of a waiting game to see whether the equity clause will be invoked. Do speak to your IP though if you are unsure about how the clause works. xx

Personally I'd rather pay the extra year than remortgage. At least then you won't have increased mortgage payments.
