I have had a call this evening from eurodebt financial services saying they could offer me a debt solution. I asked where had they got my number from as its ex-directory but unfortunately the person that knows how they got my number wasnt working tonight (yeah right). I said well could you get the person that knows to call me back as I would be very interested to know. Just wandered if anybody had heard of this company (not that I wan't anything to do with them but just wish to find out what they are up to.

We've had posts about these before, and I don't think the feedback was good!

They offer IVA, DMP and BR assistance.

I think they missed the boat with you there Paul!

Don't know how they would have got your number though.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a call back!

I was more concerned that they were not one of these firms that try and talk you into going BR and charge you for what you can do yourself for free. Thought I would mention it in case they were trying to give others a bad deal, I have mine sorted now so they can ring 1000 times a day they won't change my mind.

They possibly might offer to do that as they do bankruptcy assist. They seem to be a jack of all trades.

Best avoided I think.

Thanks for the replies. As I say I am not a bit interested but thought it may help others if mentioned. If my situation gets that bad I need to go BR then I would sort that myself.

I hope it doesn't come to that Paul.

I am sure it wont, just dont want rip off firms trying to change my mind. Its surprising how much you learn on the forum, I didnt tell eurodebt anything about my circumstances at all but they quickly decided they wanted to move on and speak to someone else. I think sometimes they can pick up that you know the score and dont want anything from them.

I hate firms who cold call, even at the house. I always do my own research before contacting anyone - regardless of what it is for.

I'm fed up with getting cold calls from debt companies telling me to press 5 for more advice. They always seem to call just before I'm going to work otherwise I'd press 5!

I'm fortunate that we are ex directory and I have never been cold called by anyone.

I do get cold called on my mobile by mobile phone companies wanting me to go with them. I have their numbers saved and as soon as I see it is one of them I just terminate the call before answering.

We're ex directory but we still get cold calls. I must sort out the TPS as I'm not convinced BT don't sell the numbers on.

Paul, how can you afford a fire with the energy prices these days?!?!
