Eurodebt are probably the most expensive and non- transparent debt management firm that charges alledgedly upfront fees for DMP's and insist on large referral fees for passing cases to their contracted IVA provider - a firm to ignore please!

Hi Paul,..Do you have a CCJ?, reason I ask is because we received a letter from them three weeks after our IVA was approved, did post about this on the forum at the time .the letter said "they would like to help us with our CCJ " by offering us a low affordable monthly repayment. They even knew our judgement number and the date our CCJ had been issued by N Rock..[:0].
We obviously didn't contact them but someone did reply at the time to my post, saying that they used them for a DMP before they applied for an IVA and interest kept being added on and they were never informed about it at the time..It ended up with them having a further debt of eight thousand to pay on top of what they owed...Someone also suggested at the time that perhaps they could have got my details from a trade journal called stubbs gazette?, please correct me if I'm wrong there though experts as it a long time ago since I posted about them, and I may have got this bit wrong..[:)]
IVA accepted 13/11/2008..17 payments down,55 to go..
It's possible DM - I've just looked it up online and it will show judgements, bankruptcy's. It's a subscription service, but if some of these companies get one or two people to pay them money then it's paid for itself.

but if they get whoever they refer the iva too to drop them the wink on the rate of return of the IVA they can then buy the bad debt at a cost where they know they will do ok.

They do get a lot of leads through CCJs, if you get a CCJ they will contact you via the Registry Trust list. Incidentally I believe Registry Trust is owned by Malcolm Hurlston of CCCS.
As far as I know most of the advisors for Eurodebt are franchisees, nothing wrong with that in principle, but I don't see how you can ensure consistent training and best practice.
Johnnybriggs - do you know any of the franchisees?
