You're not rabbiting on at all, I've just the one , Nia. Hubby and I found her a year and a half ago. She was in a terrible state, cuts and sores everywhere and terrified of everyone and everything. The vet thinks she is about 8 or 9 and he thinks she was abused. I cherish her to bits. She is so scared of any noise and she eats big chunks out of herself because she's so nervous. She sleeps on top of my tummy every night and rarely ventures outside, and then only in the garden. Your cats must have been lovely and lived to a ripe old age. X

Thats terrible to think what happened to Nia. She is so lucky to have found a loving home. How can some people be so cruel (the wines kicking in) to animals. I remember from my childhood we had a ginger tom who had a cauliflower ear (due to being kicked in the head when he was a kitten) everybody on our estate knew who's cat he was (his name was Rusty). Some kids one night thought it would be a good idea to tie a banger to his tail and see what happened. Fortunately, they couldn't get near Rusty and a neighbour saw them. That was in the days that kids were scared in case you told their parents!

That's horrible. Aren't some people sick. I won't let Nia out of my sight but she stays in the garden and won't wander so it's quite easy to spot her. I bet Toby loves the caravan, dogs are great like that aren't they, easily pleased. Nia sulks all the time for no reason. X

Unfortunately there are a lot of sick people about. And yes your right Toby does love the caravan. I'm sure if you knew what happened to Nia in the pass, you would probably understand why she sulks' but that something you will never know.
Anyway, I'm going to sign off now until the morning. Changed my tarriff with BT sometime ago cause I wasn't using the computer at home, at that time had no reason to and I can't remember how long I can stay online for. It's been lovely talking to you again this evening Viki, but I have finished my wine (which I enjoyed) and I am now going to have a lovely bath and go to bed. Looking forward to a good nights sleep. We will talk again soon. Until then thank you, keep smiling and god bless. xx

I hate the thought of anyone being cruel to animals. I don't know what sort of life Harry had before we got him, but he can be quite jumpy.

Hopefully if there's a Frugal Friends meeting in Devon I'll be able to get there - I don't need any excuses to get down to the West Country, I love it!

Re:Frugal meeting it would be nice if one of them could be closer to home for us west country friends as it would be lovely to meet others and put a face to peeps on here.

Thank you all again for your good wishes. I wonder if they ever have meetings near Exeter? And yes Scooby, I will be watching out for the next one.
Skippy, Harry is lucky to have you. And who knows if there is a meeting in Devon I may be able to put you up. x

You're so lucky to live in Devon - we're going to Lyme Regis at the end of July, and no doubt we'll be going to a few places in Devon - if I had my way we'd move to Devon or Dorset!

Hi Skippy I hope you have a lovely time in Lyme Regis. It is a beautiful place not very far from where I live (approx 20 minutes). When was the last time you visited Lyme. The park on the seafront above the prom was re-done last year, so hopefully it will be established better this year. Must confess that we have been there for a while, but now the weather is improving we will probably go and have a walk along the front and have an ice cream!
