I would also say that as long as you clear a credit card in full every month it will show on your credit record that you have done so - have never heard of anyone else having a problem with that.

I'm going to be saving for the next 3-5 years to get a good deposit together. I know that this is sometime away, and the mortgage market may well have changed by then, but I'm hoping to get something from my bank. If not and this broker is still around I'd be interested in contacting him then too.
