Here is an actual unsoliceted letter that clearly demonstrates why the insolvency register access should be reviewed:

To stop letters like this, please sign the petition:

Geez, how old was the person who wrote that. 12?? It seemed very, hush, don't tell on us or we'll cry, didn't it.

Good grief.

What I find extremely disturbing is the use of the Insolvency service logo. It is identical to the one on the letters I have received from the Official Receiver office! And their web site again, you would think it was part of the insolvency gov.uk site

Its all very worrying and misleading

Hi admin
I have just received through the post a letter from Hampton Trust offering to end my iva early. The website is www.hamptontrust.co.uk but i cant get on as it says it is forbidden. Obviously the letter is going in the bin but details again must have come from the insolvency website, also not sure if it is the same but if you google hampton trust it actually comes up with a charity for vulnerable people ? are they the same or is this not another example of using a similar name. Any way thought it may be of interest to you.

Hi
They are based in Glasgow and their website doesn't give much away http://www.hamptontrustuk.co.uk/
I imagine that they are very similar to the other companies that we have discussed and would suggest that all they can do is remortgage you for a full and final offer..........at a cost I would guess

Dave's just signed it, but it still shows 199 people and his name isn't there - does it take a while to update? He did click the link in his email!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

I think it should go to Dave - he is next to bottom of the petition and there are 201 signatures! [:D]

He didn't really have a lot of choice in the matter - I told him he was signing it!

Dave should get a special prize next Monday Andy - and well done on the petition which seems to be gaining momentum. Has iva.co.uk made any direct approaches to the Insolvency Service about the register, as I originally suggested yet?
