Hi all

well on the 1st of this month i made my last iva payment (wahoooo) checked my online banking and the DD has been cancelled i get paid this friday just in time for xmas and i cant wait to treat my family and my bf to some lovely presents that i havnt been able to over the last 5 years

just want to say a big thank you to everyone on here and now have a long wait for completion as GT say it takes 3 -6 mths to get certificte to which i dont understand this when i have seen people on here write that they have had theres after a month of last payment.... oh well such is life i just cant wait for payday and knowing all that money is now mine and i dont owe anything to anyone [:D]

I agree with Paul, pester your IP - I don't understand why it can take that long for the certificate to come through.

Congratulations and as one of the recent posters who got there cert in about 3 weeks after final payment don't let them get away with it. Phone call every week.

If they can't justify the hold up escalate it.

That's my view as if you get any sort of windfall you could lose it and that's unfair after completing the full payments.
Last Payment - November 2011 - Completion Certificate received 2 weeks after last payment, Removed from Insolvency Register within 4 weeks after last payment.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

No, I was with another IP company but I really failto see why some can do it weeks and other must take months +
