Ask away! Org proven debt around £110k but there were joint creditors in there amounting to £40k as had interlocking IVA with hubby. So technically debt was only £70k but joint debts get shown in full on both our IVA's. By month 45 (when we started f&f) we'd paid in around £60k, with ppi / I went full time etc / bonuses. Our original proposal over 5 years was to have paid back £76k, but obviously there was the equity clause which we had zero to begin with but by f&f time we had over 100k equity! We offered £13k to settle, and due to having several joint debtors it meant them getting 84p in the £. Payplan worked out that overall the creditors were getting slightly more than the original proposal (excluding the final year though). Max recovery who took over our joint Tesco loan voted a week before the meeting with a yes! plus we had a couple of other debts taken over by them, so a week before I knew we had about 62% yes in our favour. In the end everyone voted yes except Watch Portfolio (think they took the debt from Barclays). Still so happy and looking forward to not paying out £1300 each month!! I shall be saving it instead! Hope this helps and feel free to ask anything else.:) Good luck :)

That's no problem at all and I don't mind telling the world cos now we're finished! I honestly don't know. It seems from reading on here a lot of f&f's get accepted but personally I was not allowing myself to even think of the possibility. All I can do is wish you all the the very best of luck and sure you'll let us know how you get on!

Hi Guys,

Just had the creditors meeting after what was a bit of a stressful morning, I got a call saying that they had most of my creditors come back rejecting the proposal but they were still waiting on 1 but it was'nt looking very promising. They asked if my dad could up the offer which he was prepared to do, i then got a call back saying that the final creditor had come back and that they didn't need me to make another offer?!

I saw this as a good sign and that is how it has turned out, they have accepted the proposal and once the ppi has been sorted the IVA will be finished! Feeling quite relieved this afternoon now!

That is fantastic news! Well done on getting it accepted, obviously that last creditor was the tipping point!

I have applied for my credit report from call credit and equifax so far and both reports look a lot different. call credit have me defaulting on my accounts all the way through to November this year where as equifax have it about correct, what will I need to do to get them to update it correctly apart from sending the completion certificate to them im not sure what else i can do?

Well done ! Have a read here:

http://debtcamel.co.uk/repair-credit-record-iva/

You will need to check all three agencies, as they hold differing information. The reporting of defaults monthly is not a worry as long as the original default date is correct.
