hello all
I found this forum purely by accident and i have been reading everyone else's trials and tribulations about F&F settlements.

I have been in a IVA for about 2 and 1/2 years and not missed a payment kept up all by obligations regarding my paymants and annual review.

last November I recieved £11,500 through PPI and under my IP contract that money will be going to my creditors because that is classed as a 'windfall'
ok i have accepted and understand it,

But I also have enquired about using that money for a F&F settlement , my IP put a package together for my creditors 6 weeks ago and had to wait the 28 days for the meeting ,and on the day of the meeting they couldnt get the 'votes' needed even though my creditors are only 2,
i have been waiting 3 weeks for the votes but to no progress, now my IP is saying that they need re-apply for the settlement, and this is really frustrating for me.
i am currently paying £150 a month over 5 years and did owe £20,000 but when i started my IVA the agreement was reduced to £10,000, and have currently paid £4,000 off.

after all that , what i would like to know ,is
a) is there a way i can speed up the process for my F&F resolution .
b) or goto some official body to see if they can help .
or
am i screwed and have to wait and trust my IP are doing thier jobs to the best of thier ability.

Regards

Hi and welcome to the forum. I think it's in the hands of your IP to be honest. Which company are you with?

The full amount of debt is owed throughout the duration of the IVA until conclusion.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
