Thank goodness for that

Out of this lot

HSBC Graduate overdraft 1.5k
First Direct overdraft 1k
Student Loan Company(wife) 7.8k
Student Loan Company(husband) 6k
Marbles Credit card 11.1k
Amazon Credit card 4.7k
MBNA Credit card 6.9k
Citi Credit card 1.9k
Tesco Credit card 2.7k
Sky Credit card 4.8k
Barclaycard Credit card 4.6k
Sygma Credit card 2.4k
HSBC Credit card 7.5k
First Direct Credit card 6.7k
Morgan Stanley Credit card 2.4k
Egg Credit Card Credit card 9.9k
Egg Money Card Credit card 1.8k
Goldfish Credit card 4.1k

Only MBNA said no

Goldfish after all their endless telephone harassment didn't bother to vote

Student loan company didn't vote on my wife's.
They voted no on mine but apparantly submitted the vote incorrectly (didn't include a balance of account or something??) and then failed to resubmit it before the meeting close - wouldn't have mattered anyway with regard to percent in the end.

So obviously delighted, but I can't express enough how much we have learnt from this with regard to future money managment

We are also very humble towards those who have to endure the five year IVA, I'm not sure we would have managed and you have my full respect

Thank you to everyone who offered support and happy birthday ScaredKez!

We'll be sticking around on the site (if we are wanted :)) to pass on our experiences where we can

Congratulations couple31 [:D][:D]

Goldfish were a right pain with me also, they constantly phone. They were on the phone today and when i said iva approved they were very shirty and kept checking details and wanting lots of info. how funny that at that moment my mobile decided to loose signal and they were cut off...........!!

Congrats again

Many congratulations
I hope my hubby has the same success later this month, although im not holding my breath as the offer is a little lower than the minimum dividend promised at the start. Keeping everything crossed though.

Great news. Really pleased for you both. Enjoy your baby now and all the joy it will bring, without this stress.

Hi

Just wondered what your F&F offer was, we just done ours and ended up with 53.2p/£, remortage for £20,500.

Congrats, but you feel as good as we do now, only 12mths to pay up in now, is it worth paying in early if you can or are you still held to 12mths?

Lisa.

Hi Lisa

Yes, it is a tremendous relief!

We offered 42,500 against 90,000. After fees, this came out at just over 40p in the pound

We are paying the money over straight away, just to get it done as soon as possible.

Thanks

Sort of debt free anyway

We now owe my father in law 42.5k but he's likely to be somewhat more forgiving of the odd missed payment than an IP!
