Ok, today i posted off my remortgage offer, redemption statement, valuation and a letter with my offer. I sent it by Special Delivery so it will be there before 1pm tomorrow.
How long should i wait before i start battering my IVA company with emails?
Really could do with this sorted before i lose the mortgage rate i have been given.
Nerves have already kicked in and i have crossed every "crossable" part of my body.

I would give them at least a couple of days as you are probably not the only client they are dealing with at the moment. If you have no reply over the next 7 days, it is then time to "batter".

Thanks Mike
Original debt was 60000
16 monthly payments of 205 follwed by monthly payments of 156.50 for the remainder (i am now in month 37), with an equity release of an estimated 15000 at the end.
My offer is for 16773, which is actually a few hundred less than they would have got in yr 5 but not much. Hva e so far paid 7025
My resons are serious problems in my marriage and also my 4 year old son is being asessed for autism so the stress is doing him no favours at the minute.
House was valued at 85000 in the beginning and is still valued the same now (ex council) meany not much chanceof there being more equity in another 2 years.
Hope that explained everything.

Sorry to kee going on about this but i thought i would let you know that today DFD phoned me. I was told that my offer has been receved and she is going to go over it and check that all the figures are correct. She asked ws there any more charges which i dont think there are, so she said if all is correct she will put a case together and call a creditors meetng.
I explained that i had a time limit before i lose my mortgage offer and she told me not to worry and she will cal me very soon once she has worked out what the dividend to creditors will be but all in all it was very positive [:D]

Hi
Well that looks promising and I would give them a week to get the creditors meeting notification out before chasing.

Skint ... just a thought as we seem to be in similar situations. I was advised to complete on the re-mortage anyway ... because even if the F&F isn't accepted if it has to be bankruptcy the funds from the re-mortgage will go to the OR and there is now very little equity in the house. They also suggested that it is better to go to the 'table' with the money in your hand so to speak.

I didnt want to accept the offer at the minute, however the offer i have got is a FIRM offer and ready to go IF my F&F is accepted.
The variation is now being prepared so its just a case of sit and wait for a call.
