Hiya

Just a quick question really, im currently 40 out of 60 payments done, paying £352 per month

My current status is that i was made redundant in Oct 09 and my parents kindly offered to pay 10k for f&f

I have been given a date, now scheduled for 6th March 10 - does this seem a fair offer ??

I just want to set myself up for the worst if not !

Heres hoping !

That sounds like a very fair offer from very generous parents. Creditors would be mad to reject and hope all goes well on the 6th.

Hi, correct me if I'm wrong but if you continued to pay £352 per month for the next 20 months to the end of your agreement you would pay £7,040. Why would you be offering 10k as F&F ? I'm sure your good self or a forum expert will put me right if I am making wrong assumptions here !!

Hiya - thx for the message - yes you are right - just looked at the agreement and saw that in the 4th yr payments would go to £440 - so im thinking that would be @ 8.8k over the 20 mths remaining.

Sorry forgot that part !

I knew there was a reason it was 10k ! Mind is like swiss cheese atm worrying about everything !

No problem, but even so, I would'nt be offering any more than you were going to pay anyway over the remaining term of your agreement. Good luck with it all tho'. :-)

Good luck as others say they'd be mad not to accept.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

A very generous offer indeed - from very generous parents. Am sure it will be accepted but do let us know as soon as you do. Good luck!
