Hi

i posted this in new questions but then seen this folder so sorry for duplicating my questions.

My parents have offered to borrow me the money to offer a full and final settlement on my IVA and i just wanted some advise.

In payments that are left to pay and some arrears we owe about £9500. Initially there was also £3500 equity in the house which stated had to be released in year 4. last year (in year 4) we had a valuation done which showed we are now quite a lot in negative equity. I sent this to the iva provider as requested but heard nothing more about it. I was thinking of making a full and final offer of £9000. Is this a reasonable offer to be accepted? bearing in mind my remaining payments and arrears only add up to £9500 and i'll probably have paid some more by the time i hear anything from them. Or would they want the equity we no longer have on top? Just wondering what my chances are of having it accepted.
