My information is now all together and ready to be posted to my IVA company with regards to my full and final offer. How long do you think this will take once they recieve it?
The problem i have is, the last time i wrote to them i sent by recorded delivery and still they say this letter hasnt been recieved.
I have been gven the name of a lady to send everything to direct, Im assuming she deals with the caseload of my IP.
I'm a little bit concerned that this too wont get there. My mortgage offer lasts untill december and i could do without losing that and having to start again at a higher rate still.

I initially contacted our IP via email to sound them out about a F&F and I got a reply straight back saying it was being passed to the IP for him to provide a suitable settlement figure.

It only took a couple of days to receive a letter from them confirming I had contacted them and giving me a settlement figure and explaining how long before the creditors meeting could be set up which was 28 days and a form for our 3rd party to fill in. Once our IP received this form back, they could then arrange the creditors meeting. We sent the initial email on 2 August and our creditors meeting was held on 17 September! We have just sent the cheque off so it is just a case of waiting now for everything to be finalised.

Make sure that your IP is aware of the expiry of your mortgage offer, whcih should serve to speed things up a little.

You could use "Royal Mail Special Delivery". It is guaranteed to arrive by 1PM the next day and you can confirm that it has been delivered either on the internet or by phone (they give you a receipt with a barcode number and the item is tracked all the way).

It IS expensive - a minimum of £4-30 according to weight - but it gives you complete peace of mind about delivery.
47 months completed - 13 months to go.
