If they are that bad ring and tell your comnpany to deal with them, you are protected by the iva but it can take a while for the message to get through to all departments, dont worry it will stop.

It took three weeks after IVA accepted for them to stop phoning me. It stopped after I faxed a copy of IVA acceptance to them and IP phoned them. I only found out they'd accepted the situation after I phoned to complain about another debt collection letter, phone call was redirected to barclaycard.

gavin,

simple, if they asking for u...tell them that "he is not available".

You don't need to worry, it takes a bit of time before they get the paper work. You have done what is best for them and you. Don't let them stress you with this phone calls. Or say 'I don't speak english" with a very different twang...lol

regards,

Maria

Inform your IP so that they can contact them and demand that they stop calling you re this debt as a legally binding IVA is in place.

Another way is to write to them giving details of the court details and that eventually stops them!

Hi Gavin, try not to become overwhelmed by this, now that your IVA is place you have no need to worry as it is a legally binding contract between you and your creditors.

It will take time to filter through to the right department but if you get letters I would forward this onto your I.P, and if you continue to get calls advise them that you are in an IVA.
