What a nice Dad [:)]......you have to be so careful with the applications on FB, I've heard of a lot of viruses connected with them.

I love FB though and its great to actually "see" a lot of friends I've made on here, but not yet met.....although i will be meeting some of them at the FF party next week [:D]

My wife and I must be lucky; her mother said "these things happen, you are not the only ones". She is a Geordie - they are known for speaking their minds.

Having accidentally dropped mine a few weeks ago, I've been having to use the daughter's. Fortunately I was able to claim off the insurance and they have replaced it for me with a nice shiny new Dell.

My computer (main PC) is broken Port 80 is blocked after a thunderstorm, can get it fixed for around £30 but don't have £30 maybe in the New Year. My laptop is no longer a laptop we use the keyboard but running through the monitor of the main PC as the monitor has snapped off! It's certainly a weird looking contraption but it works just fine for now! he he!

Daughter has her own laptop and I do use that sometimes if she's not glued to it!

As long as it works Lesley - that's the main thing.

I was gutted as I've lost everything I had on there. I could have had it backed up onto an external hard drive for £70, but I didn't have £70 spare, plus no way of paying over the phone!

Fortunately, most of my photographs were saved to disc. The only ones which weren't were those from Egypt but I have those on Facebook so at least they aren't lost.

Hope you didn't lose too much? x
