Hi R1chard

I play as I can - golf course close by had a real disaster - someone managed to fill the fertilizer tanks with poison and they treated the greens and thereby killed all the grass!! They had to remove 3" of turf, reseed and course greens won't be ready until April, so a round of golf is £10 and as I know the manager of the pro-shop, I get a buggy thrown in for free!!!

Back home when I was playing regularly, I was playing off 9, and now I can barely break 90 - although managed to hit 86 on Sunday!!!

ouch - how did they manage to do that then? was it on purpose or a mistake? a disgruntled greenkeeper?

cant fault that... i pay 10 per round on a council course near me, its not bad, greens are abit hard but you get used to them, overall ita nice course.

i used to play alot at more "esquisit" places but dont so much these days, i happy just to get out on any course to be hoenst!

luckily in my line of work i get taken golfing by suippliers, usually down to the belfry, GOD i love playing that course, but not when im paying! lol.

my best score is 82, but normally shoot around 90 ish.

Golf Club is not too sure if it was an accident - but it did take the police 2 weeks to get there to investigate!!! LOL

I used to play everyday back home - had only been playing for 2 years before emigrating to UK and now I don't get to play much although my partner plays pretty regularly so I try and get out as much as I can ----- but winter is coming so no more 4 -5 pm tee off!!
