Congratulations...well done and you can now relax more in the knowledge that your debts are taken care of. I recall sleeping alot better just after acceptance!.

Great news -- we now walk the path together Grasshopper :-)

Were there any amendments made at the meeting ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Yes there were, we were asked to remove the Critical Illness cover from our Mortgage cover, as the amount we were paying was deemed to be in excess of what is usually allowable in an IVA. Spoke to my insurers and they cancelled my existing policy and set up a new one over the phone. I was amazed at how much different the monthly premium is without the Critical Illness. It doesn't mean we will be any better off each month though, as the difference will be payed to the creditors rather than the insurance company.

At least you were able to set up a new policy. We'd never get insurance now.
