Yes - but if the reasons for failure are based on creditor criteria, that will be same regardless of the firm you choose.

Melanie is right - if you are turned down now, it is unlikely anyone else will be able to get an IVA approved.

Has a firm not taken on your case or has the proposal been turned down at the creditors' meeting? What feedback and advice did you get?

I think I would be a bit happier if I talked to my IP, but so far that's not been the case, oh well im keeping everything crossed!

Declan is with DFD - he might be able to help out with any problems or even put you in touch with your IP. I've never spoken to my IP and don't expect I ever will unless there is a big problem! Do you have your date yet?

You should always be able to speak to your IP at any time to express or discuss concerns. I continue to be amazed by the way some of the larger firms operate, in that clients are not allowed to access their IPs. Would anyone go for medical advice and accept what the desk receptionist diagnosed?

Click on this link and put in the name of your IP. It should give you a direct email address to him/her and make contacting them a little easier.

Excellent link from Lisa and I would use it. You do deserve to talk with your IP, you need to be happy from the outset of setting up an IVA as 60 months can be a long journey x

Spurs has had his meeting from what I can gather and he has had problems with Northern Rock over the mortgage, and Lloyds, his biggest creditor, had not voted.

Hopefully Declan can find out what is happening.

Me too. Sorry I didn't recognise you from your earlier post...I have a terrible memory. Fingers crossed for you.
