Don't you just hate it when you are obligated to go to a family event which you know is going to cost you loads? My mum is getting remarried this year and her hen night is coming up. They are going to a dinner/entertainment place which is £35 a ticket a cab there and back will be £10 then there is my train fare to get there £18 and drinks

Its my mums hen night, she knows about the IVA and has kindly offered to buy my meal/entertainment ticket but its still going to cost me in the region of £45 pounds and to be honest thats 2 weeks of my families entertainmant budget

I feel so bad about going but its one of those things I cant get out of.
Then there is the wedding. We have even decided that our boys will not come as a family room at the hotel is an extra £25 and then they will need new outfits..... Weddings dont half cost a bomb to go to and to be honest I wish we could just skip it! Things like this within an IVA are difficult arent they? I know we can find the money to make it happen but I really would rather spend that on something we have chosen or save it. Does that sound bad? After all she is my mum!
