Hello,

Are tax credits rebates classed as a windfall? we seem to have been underpaid last year and we have been issued a lump sum payment straight into our bank account. I find it totally frustrating as last year we were told we had received too much and they were claiming it back over future years payments!

Do we inform the IP for my husbands IVA and do i inform the OR for my BR - if we aren't able to keep it does it get split between the IVA and the BR?

Thanks

Rachel

Tax refunds are treated as windfalls, so you will need to advise the respective supervisor and trustee and hand over the money. It will be split equally between both estates.
