LadyH, i too hope that you're feeling better today.xx.. And DM you are absolutely right! Duller are reforming[}:)]..David van day was on a programme the other night, and he's had a load of plastic surgery to try and make himself look better for the re-launch of the band! But he doesn't look any different to me[:D]..anyway, i wonder what he thinks when he looks in the mirror mirror[:D]..sorry, couldn't resist that one! xx..

[:D][:D][:D]..very good Tori and for this time of the morning too, I'm impressed[;)]..I never liked them at all but thought he was quite amusing in 'I'm a celebrity' but while he was in the jungle, there were a couple of articles about her saying she would never get back with him[:0]..and as for the plastic surgery,it hasn't done him any favours as like you say he doesn't look any different!!..[:D]

I can't stand him, and I didn't like Dollar much either.

Why is it only the rubbish bands who reform - why not Spandau Ballet?!?!

I can't stand him either Skip but did laugh at him a few times when he was in the jungle!!....Spandau Ballet are brill and there was an article in the paper the other day to say that they too are reforming 30 years after they first got together?..there are so many good 80's bands I'd like to see again[8D]

I think I would prefer to remember a lot of 80's bands as they were. I know we've all got older and time hasn't always been kind (it certainly hasn't to me!), but they can sometimes look very sad and desperate (like Dollar!).

I agree Jan that some bands are never the same as they once were but there are a few exceptions that still sound good...I think Spandau ballet would still be good as Tony Hadley still sounds the same as he did when I heard him not so long ago...I have seen a few though over the years that weren't so good second time around!![:)]

A lot of them do still sound ok, it's the way they look now that makes me want to remember how they looked in their heyday.

I love watching VH1 sometimes when they have 80's music on - takes me back to my youth!
