For those of you fed up with the gym or are in need of company i might have the perfect solution to your fitness desires!!

I have just recently become an Instructor for British Military Fitness, they are an outdoor fitness session held in local parks and commons.

Most venues do at least 3 sessions a week and are very reasonably priced. Unlike gym membership you can also cancel after 3 months if you are not already hooked by then!!

I am based at Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham on a Mon 7pm-8pm Weds 7pm-8pm and sat morning 10am.

First session is a free trial.

So if you are in the area and fancy a challenge come on down. For those of you who are not in Birmingham there are several other venues all around the country all offer first trial free.

Perfect for those of you who don't like the gym or prefere to train with others.

All fitness levels are catered for.

Feel free to check out the website at www.britmilfit.com

If you do venture down to cannon Park come and say hello, I'm the only female Instructor, so look for the one with the big bum and bingo wings lol!!

where are you based skippy??

There are lots of venues now (46+) so I am confident there would be one near by.

Its really good fun, I really forward to going, we have such a laugh and get fit at the same time. Great for perking up your mood when things are getting you down.

Having spent 16 years in the RAF on the end of military fitness training may I be the 1st to decline your offer on the grounds that my PE vest and shorts no longer fit me!!!!

Good luck with the venture though.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Me too. I escaped the Army to avoid PTIs (I recall you were one of that elite crew Spen!). I never ever want to see a CFT or BPFA ever again.

Using the words "nicer" and "PTI" in the same sentence is rather contradictory!! Seriously, I wish I lived a bit nearer, I used to attend a boot camp down here and it was the fittest I have ever been.

Hey Ang

I work with total beginners or people who have not exercised for a long time.

Our sessions are exercising using different games so it is fun.

I have ladies who are in their late fifties early sixties and a mixture of all shapes and sizes.

Each session is adapted for everyone to be able to work at their own pace.

we do some running aprox 50-100m at a time this is ussually just to move around the common rather than stay in the same spot.

Your first session is free so you could come and try it out. Or come down and watch one first.

The blue bibbed people are the beginners, reds intermediate and green advanced.

Is your daughter over 18 as this is the minimum age requirement.

We are the fastest growing park at Cannon Hill as most people become hooked aftre the first session.

How come you don't go anymore to your bootcamp melanie??

It does sound good fun, but I'd want a lady instructor - I don't want a big bloke shouting at me!

I'm in Staines in Middlesex Spenmotherhen - if I was close to your class I'd definitely come!

LOL!!!! You lot are so funny!!!

I can't see much exercising going on, we will be too busy laughing!!

Unfortunately i am not there until second week of July, as my hubbie has gone away so no one about to look after the wee ones.

Go for it anyway you might just emjoy it lol!!

Don't worry there will be no mention of IVA's etc, nobody there knows about ours either.

Hopefully get to meet you at some point!!

Good luck if you go before I return.

OT - Fit men in lycra - pass me a bucket lol!!!
