I don't mention her much, cos she's all mine and it's private, but my beautiful daughter has just moved into her first very own home at the age of 20. And I am very very proud of her !!!!

She says she can't wait for me to be fixed so she can cook her dad his dinner. It's obviously just lush. She's so scared to get too close in case i pop my clogs, i have to tell the docs this on Tuesday. A medium dry Country Manor would go down deliciously right now, in fact I'd probably quaff a bottle of Mateus Rose down in 5 seconds flat, with the lampshade still on !!!!

I bet she'll do you as fab dinner as well!

I am smiling thinking of you drinking the Mateus with the lampshade on - is that you or the bottle?

I had mixed feelings when mine left home, happy they felt confident to make their own way in the world but sad as well that another milestone was gone, in saying that they both left home on a piece of elastic and bounced back a few times before leaving properly
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

I missed out on that, we were separated for so long, though to me now, I feel as equally stupid and giddy as I did when i first clapped my peepers on her when she plopped out of her equally gorgeous mum. Forever milestones.

I'm glad mine is confident and can make her own way, equally glad that my stepkids are the same.

I will be glad when it's just us two permanently though!
