I find that Farmfoods and Iceland are great value for frozen stuff. As I tend to live by the microwave (easy and I'm lazy!!!) I often pop in there.

I have never seen a square sausage - is it the same as an ordinary sausage? Perhaps they only sell it in their Scottish branches?

Optimist --
square sausage - sausage meat, square shape, no skin , perfect for sandwiches ..

Not just scottish branches -- unless Ipswich has recently been annexed .

its known as lorne sausage in farmfoods, i don't like that stuff but prefer the fresh scotch square sausage from a good scottish butcher its much tastier and a little bit spicier, my relatives bring it down when they visit as its one of the main things my hubby misses from home.
kerri, oh and his square bread lol
