Hi Dav,
I echo what everyone else has said. This site is a life giver - I was as desperate as the others on here when I faced my debt and realised how bad things had become. Mine was a culminaton of my debt and the debt my fiancee left when he died suddenly.
We all know what you are going through and are here to help....as we have been helped.
You will get through this really bad time and you will find your solution...try to keep your chin up and keep posting for support and advice....
Hugs,
Chardonnay

When you decide to embark on a journey to debt freedom, one of the key elements to grasp is that this is the start of a new beginning and not an ongoing link to the past. Whilst it is important to understand the causes which have led to your difficulties, it is more important to look to the future with positivity and an inner belief that you will resolve your difficulties and come out of this better people.

I do hope that your IP decides that your case is viable.

Hi Dav
You are already on your way to sorting it out and finding a solution. All your thoughts and feelings are so familiar to a lot of us. Like you we had nothing to show for our debt, there are so many reasons for debt. You will never be judged on here just support and advice when needed.
Well done be proud you are on your way now look to the future and being debt free.

Thank you all again for your words of encouragement. Had a call yesterday to say that my paperwork had been received and not to worry that I hadn't heard anything, they are just very busy at the moment. Still no decision yet though.

If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of credit card payments!!!

I think that you are with my firm Davram, and I looked at your case yesterday and confirmed that we are intending to proceed. Apologies if this has not been passed on to you, but I am sure Angela mentioned to me that she had spoken to you?

Melanie.
Had the confirmation from Tina at about 6.30 last night. Thank you so much for taking me on.
It was Angela who had spoken to me on Wednesday to say that you were hoping to go over it that afternoon and not to worry as you had been out of the office a lot lately. Didn't get chance to get back to the forum last night so couldn't update.
Thanks again.
Carl.
