I often look online on www.mysupermarket.com to see where my shopping works out cheaper. I don't necessarily shop somewhere different if it's only a couple of pounds difference, but it lists special offers and other swaps so you know what to look out for.

I have to admit I don't bother too much about petrol prices as the petrol light is usually on by that point so I have to use the first petrol station I come to!

Skippy - I love that your petrol light comes on too. We do this all the time and thought we were unusual.

We have found the leaflets that come through the door really useful to let us know what special offers are on in the local supermarkets as sometimes there are some great deals.

I used to be a real shopping snob and hated Netto and Aldi - but that was based on assumption - once I tried them I found them great value and some of the food at aldi is better than other supermarkets - The frozen Thai green chicken curry is to die for yum yum (but too synful for slimming world)
When I was younger I did what I knew - now I know better I do better!

That's what the petrol light is there for isn't it?!?!

I can remember thinking that the oil light was there to tell me when to change the oil - Dave was horrified when I told him!

We don't have a Netto around here, and to be honest I wasn't impressed with Aldi, it didn't seem that much cheaper, and the one near me wasn't laid out very well.

I also like getting my Clubcard points at Tesco, especially as they are doing double points at the moment!

Hubby's deodorant and my shampoo and conditioner come from Poundland, as do our batteries. My deodorant comes from Asda as Poundland don't do the one I like.

Have to say that I never let my fuel guage get to the light coming on
! Once I get to a quarter tank I start to panic and I have to put some fuel in.

We don't have the most fuel efficient car though.
