I am right there with you Harrysmummy78! Im having faith in the fact that most do not get rejected as the creditors get more back than they would in Bancruptcy. Im hoping my IP wouldnt have put forward my proposal if they didnt think it would be accepted. I also hope the do not want to up the payments! Thats a lot of hoping but we will get there one way or another. I alredy feel more in control which can only be a good thing. Roll on Friday for us and Monday for you. Good luck! xxx

Thank you :) - I agree OnTheUp1976 I feel so much more in control now have actually quite enjoyed budgeting January & Feb and feel confident that I can turn our lives around if I get the chance.. we are with Melanies team so I do feel in safe hands just that nagging doubt that wont go away as we are offering a very low dividend at 14p in the £ but I suppose it is still better than the 0p in Bankruptcy I just dont want to go down that road.I think a house work marathon is called for to take my mind off it :)

Hi, we have just made the 2nd payments into our IVA and I had exactly the same feelings as you in the time leading up to our Creditors Meetings - it is still VERY fresh in my mind. My dividend was also pretty low - in the proposal it was 17p although ended up at 18p due to the modifications to IP fees etc. Hope you get a positive result on the day so that you can start your journey to a debt free life - like us. I have also quite enjoyed having to budget really strictly for the past 3 months (2 of them being in our IVA) even though our first couple of months have been a bit sticky - £130 unexpected plumbing expenditure, £100 unexpected car expenditure and several days income lost due to snow (hubby is driving instructor). But we have survived two months now and don't regret entering into an IVA at all. Hope to see you posting good news.

I'm feeling the same as you - my meeting is next week too, and my dividend is similar to yours. Starting to feel quite anxious now.

Ours is Monday, also a low dividend, and I'm frantically trying to put it out of my mind. My Mum came to stay for a couple of days, which has kept me occupied, but have seen her off on the train today and once on my own again, the worries come flooding back.

I had my mum over for the weekend also debt tired - and the best thing I did was tell her about our debt before Christmas as nobody else knows about it and I worry about things far more than my husband does - I think I would have cracked up for sure without her support and all the support on this forum - I am on here more than face book these days!!! I hope Monday 25th is going to be a great day for both of us everything crossed. try and keep your chin up xx

My husband told my parents in a moment of despair, and although I was furious and embarassed at the time it was the best thing that could have happened. They have been interested, surprisingly non-judgemental, and my Mum has offered us the money for a full and final IVA. Having struggled for the last 12 years due to an assortment of circumstances, I am so grateful not to have to continue like this for another 6 years. That is, IF it is passed. Nearly another day crossed off!

Scared here too - less than 48 hours to go :) x with Mels team too and only offering 17p in £ too, but better than 0p if we were on bankruptcy route which will be our only option if the reject our proposals x Good luck everyone x

Hey guys not sure all this fretting over dividend percentages is really that warranted.
Everyone has different cicrumstances and the important thing to bear in mind is that whoever represents you would not put forward a proposal that isn`t going to be accepted.
You`ll be fine.[8D]
