Congratulations Kayleigh, hope everything works out on the iva front.

Debtsure sound very, very dodgy. Its a shame such companies exist and undermine all the good work that David, Melanie, Andy & co all do.

Kayleigh, I have deleted your new thread as it was a duplicate of this one.

Just in case you wondered where it had gone.

The solicitors acting for IDS solutions have sent me the adjounment notice. It states that I did not attend court and that papers have to be served upon me before 14th July. I obviously did attend court and the judge said NO papers were to be served upon me until that date. What a farce this is turning out to be. Obviously IDS solutions have sent papers to the court to be served upon me again.

This is just ridiculous!

I'd give them a ring on Monday and ask them what they are playing at as you were at court.

I've written to the court pointing out their error and that they should refer back to the judge. I have also written to the solicitors acting for the creditor telling them the same. It will be difficult phoning Monday as I will be with another person all day.

I have just spoken to a solicitor friend of mine - he helped someone else on here - he said you should write to the offending solicitors (by recorded delvery) copy to the Judge's Clerk - you need not bother with his/her name - address it to the Clerk to Judge xxxx- telling them to correct their "serious error of fact by return of post failing which you will make a formal complaint of alledged malpractice to the Solicitors Regulation Authority". Hope this is of some use.

At least you have written. Be interesting to see what they come back with.

IDS Solutions and their solicitors haven't a clue have they?

Sorry I didn't make it clearer. It was the adjournment notice from the court that was incorret. It stated I did not attend and that the amended petition had to be served before the 14th July. The judge had stated that no papers were to be served. Whoever read the judges notes obviously got it completely wrong. So it is the courts admin dept at fault. The solicitors acting for IDS will now try and serve the papers on me.

Thanks, don't worry I'm a fighter when my back is against the wall. I just feel for some people who cannot cope with the stress when things go so wrong. Most of my creditors have been OK but you only need one or two to give you sleepless nights. One good piece of advice I was given if people start getting lots of calls from creditors is to firstly ask for their first and last name and that this call will be logged.

That is good advice - they won't like giving that! You can also refuse to answer their security questions.
