Hi all, can you make a final offer to creditors without attempting to remortgage. I've done 5 years and asked for a settlement figure but my IVA keep insisting on pursuing that I attempt
2 seperate remortgage attempts before they put it forward. Is this normal or are they just being unhelpful and awkward?

If I do have to attempt another 2 separate remortgage applications is there any recommendations?

Point your IP to the covid amendments on the GOV website, here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... a-protocol
Section 3 paragraph 1.12 states that equity release does not have to be attempted at the moment.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I've forwarded that bit of information their way, so let's see how they respond to it!
