I have never posted in the 5 years I have been on my Iva. But the posts on here have helped immensely. I have been with freeman jones who have been fantastic all the way through.

As long as you pay every month and send in payslips every month then you should have no issue.

In the first couple of years I ran up a bit of extra monies that I needed to pay back. But with a bit of budgeting and looking towards the finish line I got it all done within the 5 years.

I'm lucky in the fact I don't have a mortgage so no equity release is needed.

But all I can say is keep going. And you will learn to live without that money and once you finish you know you can save and live credit free.

Next step in the completion certificate than look to building up the credit history so I can look to buy a house in the future.

Good luck everyone :D

Well done and Congratulations. Here's hoping that certificate doesn't take too long.
