Well just over a month ago I made my final payment.
Then the hard part starts the waiting.
Everything has to be checked solicitors had to confirm no PPI.
Then the wording of the F and F had to be checked then working out of the final creditors payments.
This all has to be checked.
Then the payments are made unbelievably one still requires a cheque.
Now I have to wait around 2 weeks for the money to be taken and then the final letter can be sent to me.
I still owe a massive debt of thanks to Varden Nuttall I know they have had some critics on this site but I have always found them contactable, pleasant but firm when required.
I have had a couple of disagreements in the past and stood my ground when I thought I was right.
With regard to the PPI yes I signed my power of attorney why because I knew there was nothing there I always thought it was a scam.
What I realised very quickly when I turned to them for help in my case it was life changing.
I never thought when I made my call that 3 1/2 years later I would find myself in this position.
I have money in the bank as I don't have anybody to pay any more.
No debt.
I didn't lose my house.
A b***** great smile across my face every day,
As I have said a real debt of thanks to Varden Nuttall.
There are a number of ladies that work there that will always be able to call on me as I would not be in this position without there help.
Anyone starting on this route you will feel that there is never an end in sight but believe me there is and when you get there its unbelievable.
I would add that always check your paperwork keep all e mails and leters then you can check back.
When you get low come on this forum read some of the posts and it brings you back to earth and reality.
Worst case scenario you can go bankrupt once your in an IVA you have taken the first steps bankruptcy is not the end of the world.
Thanks Jo and Nicola
Finally good luck to all and I wish you Well

A lovely post bill and one that will hopefully give others some positivity that there is light at the end of the IVA tunnel!

Good luck for the future.
