Well I have made my last payment as far as I know abeit in two halves due to work payments being paid in two halves. Just waiting on GT to get in contact to confirm, then it's just waiting for the certificate. I haven't had my beer yet but will probably have that when we have a family meal out at the end of this month celebrating Birthdays and my 28th Wedding Anniversary.

I can certainly say now, its been a struggle at times but we have made it to the end. I will probably still take my calculator to do my shopping lol. I have learned a valuable lesson in money management and not to spend what I don't have. I will still budget but now I know if I want something or those emergencies you always don't expect can be done without worrying where the next penny is coming from.

This forum is a great place to be if there is any questions you need answer's to. My thanks to the people on here who give advice where needed.

Congratulations on the final payment, as well as on the upcoming Anniversary. 28 years is an achievement in itself :-)

28 Years....my very warmest congratulations to you both and for the end of your IVA. I never managed 28 years between the two of my marriages and seeing as I have now developed a terminal allergy to wedding cake, (it brings me out in red figures all over my bank statements)i'm never going to be in that position. Take great care and enjoy the double celebration.

No only joking Jan.. :-) The best thing about being with the same woman over all these years, is you know what she is thinking without her having to say anything. and the other upside is she knows how you like your cup of tea made :-) It has also taken me 28 years to get her to cut the grass hahaha
